New UBV(RI)C photometric and photoelectric radial velocity observations of six short-period galactic Cepheids are presented. The data are used to search for binaries among these stars. AT Pup is revealed as a new spectroscopic binary system. Its companion is likely to be a main-sequence star of spectral type B5 or later. T Vel may be another spectroscopic binary with a red companion, and there is some evidence for a blue photometric companion to GI Car.
