Spectra obtained with the Low Resolution Spectrograph of IRAS were analyzed to determine the Ne/He abundance ratio of the WC8 component in the Wolf-Rayet binary star Gamma-2 Velorum. Identifications for the strongest emission lines are given in a table. A Ne/He abundance of 0.009 was calculated, which is in good agreement with previous theoretical calculations. The abundance ratio implies a significant galactic enrichment of the isotope Ne-22 by WC stars.
