Examination of the influence of energy losses due to Compton scattering on the electron spectrum in 'plasma boilers' (regions in which there are extended plasma turbulence, magnetic fields, and a high energy density of radiation). The kinetics of electrons and photons is analyzed in a 'boiler' where there is substantial Compton scattering of photons on electrons, and the plasma-Compton radiation mechanism is determined. It is shown that the universality of the spectral index of relativistic electrons is destroyed in 'plasma boilers' when Compton losses are taken into account.
