CGRO/OSSE observations of the bright LMXB Sco X-1 have resulted in the discovery of transient episodes of hard X-ray emission extending to energies above 200 keV. During these periods, the emission spectrum above 80 keV deviates significantly from the extrapolation of the soft thermal spectrum observed at lower X-ray energies. The intervals of hard emission last ~4-days with a duty cycle ~30%. Using RXTE/ASM data from the same intervals to establish the state of Sco X-1 on the color-color diagram ``Z'' is in progress, but preliminary results indicate that the hard X-ray episodes occur over a limited range of mass accretion rates. .
