A comparison is made between data on large-signal single counter delayed events obtained at sea level and a Monte Carlo simulation. The simulation includes cascade fluctuations in the detector calorimeter as obtained from an accelerator calibration of a prototype, but no massive particle production. Qualitative agreement between simulation and data is obtained.
