The paper uses space-probe data to study the height profiles of fluxes of descending and ascending thermal radiation, radiative heat fluxes and rates of radiative cooling for different states of the atmospheres of Mars, Venus and Jupiter. Consideration is given to the effects of various atmospheric parameters - vertical temperature profiles, chemical composition, albedo, heights of upper and lower boundaries of cloud cover, turbidity level and trace element concentrations on radiative heat flux and rate of radiative cooling.
