A method to distinguish the inverse Compton mechanism from the thermal one is described. The correlation between the X-ray emission mechanism and the calculation of thylower limit of magnetic field is discussed. Using X-ray contour maps of clusters of galaxies with a resolution of 1.5 arcmin, a Coma cluster contour map and low frequency radio maps with similar resolution, the distributions of the lower limit of magnetic field and other related physical quantities are determined for various sources. It is shown that the lower limit of magnetic field in radio galaxies is larger than 10 to the -6th gauss, and by substracting radio galaxies from the whole cluster radio source and calculating the magnetic field distribution for only the halo source, it is inferred that the strength of the halo magnetic field is about 10 to the -8th gauss.
