Results are reported for area-integrated ubvyR photoelectric
observations of 177 areas (each about 6.45 sq arcmin) in a region around
30 Doradus. The R magnitudes determined are compared with results
obtained by the Astronomical Netherlands Satellite. Apparent
discrepancies between the two sets of results are briefly noted.
