Two different pictures of the pulsating gamma-ray source CG 195 plus 4 observed by the SAS 2 and COS B satellites are discussed. In the former a slowly rotating accreting neutron star surrounded by a cloud thick to X-rays is considered. In the latter the source is supposed to be a freely precessing neutron star with a spin period close to that of MP 0833 and a magnetic moment of 10 to the 31st power G-cu cm. The observations which can be important for clarifying the nature of the source are briefly examined.
