Thirty-one image-tube spectrograms of 18 southern emission-line stars are described. Two of the observed objects appear to be almost normal late-type dwarfs. Three other ones were found to be peculiar early-type emission-line stars. The remaining 13 objects are T Tauri stars. At least six of these objects show spectroscopic evidence for mass accretion and seem to belong to the YY Orionis subclass of the T Tauri stars. The present data suggest that YY Orionis stars are more numerous than assumed so far.
