The ADM formalism is used for the quantization of (1) the Bertotti-Robinson (1959) universe and (2) Goedel's universe. In light of the results obtained, the problem of quantum singularities is discussed. According to certain definitions given, it is seen that in case (1) the classical singularity is not avoided, and in (2) a new singularity is created.
