Reference is made to events in which the continuous spectrum of gamma-rays from solar flares has been observed in the energy interval of hundreds of keV to several MeV. It is then noted that an important contribution to the formation of the continuous gamma-ray spectrum in the 0.3-2 MeV interval is provided by the reactions between the nuclei accelerated in the flare and the nuclei of atoms of elements from the solar atmosphere. The effectiveness of these reactions in the generation of gamma quanta from solar flares is discussed.
