The 8446 A emission line of O I and the infrared triplet of Ca II (wavelengths 8662, 8542, and 8498 A) have been studied for Be stars showing Paschen lines. It is found that the equivalent width of the 8446 A line of O I is correlated more closely with the equivalent width of the H-alpha emission line than with the equivalent width of the H-beta emission line, which is consistent with the prediction of Bowen (1947). It is also found that stars with the infrared triplet of Ca II show a slightly larger infrared excess than stars without the infrared triplet of calcium.
