The 4.8 hour modulation of E ≥ 2×1015eV gamma-rays from Cygnus X-3 has been analysed in detail on the basis of experimental data of the extensive air shower experiment at Kiel. A period p0 = 0.199,681,6±0.000,000,2 d is found. For the period derivate an upper limit of p⪉ 2×10-9 is derived. The light curve has a significant narrow peak at phase 0.35 and there are indications for a second smaller peak at phase 0.65.
