A comparison was made of the concentrations of petrogenic oxides in the impact melts and target rocks of the Ianis'iarvi, Kara, and El'gygytgyn craters. It is shown that, during the transformation of the initial material into impactites, averaging and homogenization of its composition occurred, which were most prominent for the bottom layer of tagamites in Ianis'iarvi. Compared with the target, the impact melts in this crater are somewhat enriched in CaO and MnO and depleted in MgO; in the Kara crater, the impact melts are enriched in Al2O3 and K2O; in the El'gygytgyn crater, the melts are enriched in CaO, MnO, MgO, and Fe2O3(tot), and depleted in SiO2, and K2O. The data indicate that the geochemistry of the impact process displays both a tendency to mixing and a tendency to differentiation, acting on different scales of the phenomenon.
