Scientific paper

Measurements of ELF/VLF emissions by the satellite Intercosmos 13 at auroral latitudes and the polar cap during the vernal equinox of 1975 are compared with characteristics of the interplanetary magnetic field. In the variations in the intensity of ELF and VLF emissions in the outer ionosphere as a function of the magnetic field characteristics, no north-south asymmetry is observed.
