It is noted that quasi-steady states at energies omega less than mu
exist near a Schwarzschild black hole. The occupation of these states by
massive spinor particles is examined in the Pauli approximation for
small black holes (mu)(M) much less than 1. It is shown that, as in the
case of a scalar field, the occupation process is a thermal one.
