It is pointed out that measurements of the central velocity dispersions in the bulges of spiral and S0 galaxies have proved valuable in studies of the comparative kinematics of bulges and elliptical galaxies. The present investigation is concerned with new measurements conducted with a photon-counting Reticon system at a 1.5 m reflector and with observations carried out with the aid of the intensified image dissector scanner at a 2.1 m telescope. The determined velocity dispersions and redshifts are listed in two tables.
