Scientific paper

A joint analysis of maps of pressure variation in the troposphere (or of pressure dispersions) following geomagnetic disturbances and of maps of advection, wind-speed divergence, etc. makes it possible to advance the concept of solar-dependent centers of action (SDCA) of the atmosphere. By means of SDCA, where baroclinic instability is high, a solar disturbance is transmitted and planetary waves develop in the atmosphere. Infrasonic waves are considered as an agent connecting the lower thermosphere and the troposphere.
