Cosmic Dust: Galilean Moons, Trojans, Kuiper Belt

Probable projectiles of the smallest size for Galilean moons can be originated from the Trojans swarms and the Kuiper Belt. During the Solar System age minor bodies have been subjected to collisional evolution, and debris of those disruptive impacts of tens and hundreds meters in radii can come upon Jupiter-crossing unstable orbits. Based on the current population of the Trojan asteroids and intrinsic impact probabilities we estimate a collisional rate of small Trojans. We propose a selective depletion of L4-L5 populations, because small fragments are, in average, the most fast after a catastrophic disruption and, hence, they have more chances to leave the Lagrangian points. For small comets should being delivered from the Kuiper Belt side by side with ordinary comets we demonstrate a substantial depletion of the population especially for bodies with perihelia less than 2.5 a.u.
