The authors have conducted a series of three sounding rocket experiments aimed at measurement of stellar ultraviolet flux distributions in the wavelength range below 1200 Å, the effective limit of previous calibrations such as those of OAO-2, TD-1, and IUE. Previous sounding rocket and Voyager UVS measurements in this wavelength range were discordant with each other and with model atmosphere predictions. The authors describe the calibration and data reduction procedures used for their investigations, as well as preliminary results.
