Photographic observations of the quiet part of the solar corona, obtained in white light and at 470, 530.3, 600, and 637.4 nm using portable 11.47-cm telescopes at three locations in County Ruili, Yunnan Province, China, during the eclipse of February 16, 1980, are reported. The data are presented in photographs, graphs, diagrams, and tables and briefly characterized, with an emphasis on the radial distributions of electron density and temperature in the corona, which are estimated by determining the coefficients for the empirical formulas of Baumbach (1937).
