A complete isophote map of the Galaxy in the ultraviolet spectral region (λ = 356 nm; Δλ1/2 = 60 nm) is presented in graphical and in tabular form: 0° ≤ l < 360°, -40° ≤ b ≤ +40°, resolution 1°. The brightest regions (I > 250 S10 U = 250 stars of 10th magnitude per square degree in U) are located at l ≅ 290°, b = 0° (Carina), whereas the minimum of surface brightness along the galactic equator appears at l ≅ 150° (I < 40 S10 U). The overall picture of the Galaxy is the base for an extensive study of the galactic stellar and interstellar environment.
