I review the essentials of ultrahigh-energy neutrino interactions, show how
neutral-current detection and flavor tagging can enhance the scientific
potential of neutrino telescopes, and sketch new studies on neutrino encounters
with dark matter relics and on gravitational lensing of neutrinos.
