Giant pulses (GP) observed in a number of pulsars show a record brightness temperature. Comparable energy densities in the radio-frequency region are attainable in a cavity-resonator being the pulsar internal vacuum gap. A wide range of events observed at GP (intensity, localization, circular polarization, duration, power low, correlation with hard emission) can be explained from the viewpoint that the internal vacuum gap is a cavity stimulated by discharges and radiating through the breaks in the magnetosphere. Superimposed separate discharges form the fine structure of GP.
