We review recent results obtained from observations of Anomalous X-ray
Pulsars at different wavelengths (X-rays, Optical, IR and Radio) with
particular emphasis on results obtained by BeppoSAX. Proposed models for AXPs
are briefly presented and critically discussed in the light of these results.
