The most recent evidence for geodetic precession observed in binary radio
pulsars is presented and discussed. It is demonstrated how an analysis of these
results can be used to study theories of gravity, stellar evolution and pulsar
emission theory. In order to highlight the observational strategies, an
overview of the applied techniques is given.
