Cluster mergings are expected to have an influence on the radio emission of
the galaxy population. We present the results of a deep radio survey in the
A3558 complex in the central region of the Shapley Concentration, in order to
further explore our hypothesis of a dependence of the radio luminosity function
on the age of the merging.
