Twenty millisecond radio pulsars have now been observed in the globular
cluster 47 Tuc. This is by far the largest sample of radio pulsars known in any
globular cluster. These recent observations provide a unique opportunity to
re-examine theoretically the formation and evolution of recycled pulsars in
globular clusters.
