We report on the early progress of the Active Pixel Sensor (SWIR,
Optical and UV/EUV) industrial developments for the European Space
Agency Bepi Colombo and Solar Orbiter missions and present preliminary
results of tests performed in our laboratory on an existing optical
rad-hard APS, the STAR1000, presently in prequalification phase.
