Inversion for the hydrostatic component of the solar internal structure is reported, using p-mode frequencies measured from the MDI data. Frequency variations with solar activity are analyzed for a possible contribution coming from the variations in the interior. The data covering the half of the activity cycle are combined into a single set for analyzing the seismic stratification of the deep solar interior.
