Cycle 10 STIS spectroscopy yielded the two dimensional velocity field for the ionized hydrogen gas in a rectangular region 7 x 17 pc in size centered on the mini Seyfert nucleus in M81. The velocity field reveals the signature of a rotating disk of gas. An intensity weighted model of the velocity field has been developed. Minimizing the difference between the model and the data allows useful constraints to be placed on both the mass of the black hole and the inclination of the disk spinning around it.
