The LogN-LogS relation of the EGRET Unidentified (EUI) sources are studied and compared with several simulated models. Sources were simulated using different luminosity and spatial distributions. Spatial coincidences of EUI sources with possible candidates (SNRs,OB Associations, Pulsars, High Mass X-ray Binaries, and Superbubbles) are used to derive intrinsic luminosity distributions. The results indicate that sources, following a double Gaussian luminosity distribution, which are spread along the spiral arms produce a steep LogN-LogS curve that resembles the LogN-LogS curve of the EUI sources. We conclude that EUI sources are relatively young objects residing close to the inner edge of the spiral arms and their underlying population could belong to more than one class.
