Mid-infrared images and spectra of the Orion Bar acquired at the NASA IRTF with our new Mid-InfraRed Spectrometer and Imager (MIRSI) will be presented. The data were obtained in November 2002. MIRSI has a FOV of 96"x72" and diffraction-limited spatial resolution with a pixel scale of 0.3" at the IRTF. We compare our observational results to predictions from state of the art models of interstellar infrared emission and macromolecular chemistry (Bakes et al 2001). These models predict variations in the spectral features of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in photodissociation regions (PDRs), and can be used in combination with the observations to constrain the properties of the materials found in the PDR of the Orion Bar. Because of the Orion Bar's favorable edge-on geometry, the observations will trace the relative strengths of the PAH features with depth into the Bar.
