We present preliminary results of a Chandra observation of the 250 Myr open cluster NGC 3532, one of the best studied clusters for rotation periods between Pleiades and Hyades ages. We detect over 30 stars spanning a wide range in rotation period. We discuss the cluster's X-ray distribution function, rotation-activity relationship, and how X-ray flux and temperature vary along the cluster's rotational sequences. We compare the results with other clusters, and draw implications for the evolution of rotation and activity in young stars.
