XMM-Newton Observations of PSR 0656+14 are presented. XMM-Newton's high collecting area affords us a new view of PSR 0656+14 in X-ray, allowing us for the first time to study not only the fine structure of the X-ray lightcurve not previously detected, but also how the lightcurve varies at different energy bands. Spectral modelling of the pulsar shows that the best fit model to the source is that of two blackbody components. In addition to these components it is shown that an extra powerlaw component is necessary to explain higher energy emission from the source. The origins of these components and their relationship to the structure of the lightcurve of PSR 0656+14 are presented. This work partially funded by NASA grant NAG 5-7714.
