We present new high-resolution spectra of the hot DA white dwarf WD0004+330 obtained with the Far Ultraviolet Spectroscopic Explorer (FUSE) in the wavelength range 905-1187A, for the purpose of studying the deuterium abundance of the local interstellar medium. The effective temperature and gravity of this star (Teff 46,000K and log(g) 7.83) provide a smooth stellar continuum against which the interstellar lines are cleanly seen. Molecular hydrogen, corresponding to rotational levels J<4 are clearly seen along this line of sight. We determine column densities of D I, C II*, N I, O I, Si II, P II, Ar I, and Fe II, and compare D/O, D/N, and O/N values with previously published values for the local interstellar medium. This work is based on data obtained for the Guaranteed Time Team by the NASA-CNES-CSA FUSE mission operated by the Johns Hopkins University. Financial support to U. S. participants has been provided by NASA contract NAS5-32985.
