We measure the metallicity in a sample of galaxy clusters observed with Chandra. In the inner 100kpc we find higher metallicities for cooler clusters. This anti-correlation between temperature and metallicity is not found in the outskirts of clusters and is not as prominent when measured in a scaled radius of 0.15R_500. We also study the connection between the iron in the cluster gas and the optical luminosities of the cluster galaxies, and look for any signature of star formation processes on the entropy of the cluster gas.
