We report the detection of a low mass companion around the primary of a close binary star system with the first multi-object Doppler instrument instrument at the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) telescope. The derived minimal mass of this companion is 12.2MJ. The period is 13.41±0.03 days. This companion is likely to be a giant planet or a brown dwarf. The measured eccentricity is 0.21±0.03. We then use a two dimensional cross-correlation method to analysis the high resolution spectra of this binary, try to figure out whether this the low mass companion is around the A star in this binary system or around the B star. This work was supported by W.M. Keck Foundation, NSF, SDSS-III consortium, NASA and University of Florida.
