The existence of periodic solutions for coupled oscillators with resonance 4:1:4 are investigated. The theoretical results allow the prediction of a periodic solution for mu less than mu0, where mu is the parameter describing the coupling, and two distinct periodic trajectories if mu is greater than or equal to 0 and less than or equal to mu1, which is less than mu0. The evaluation of mu1 and mu0 depends on the energy of the system.
