The recycling model predicts that Millisecond Pulsars are neutron stars spun up by mass and angular momentum accretion from a low mass companion. In order to obtain a strong observational proof of this scenario we have searched 6 Soft X-ray Transients for radio pulsations. Those sources are, for their rotational, magnetic and accretion characteristics, the best candidates to establish a link between Millisecond Pulsars and Low Mass X-ray Binaries and to confirm the recycling model. No pulsed radio signals were found in our search, above significant flux limits. We suggest that free-free absorption from material ejected from the system by the pulsar radiation pressure could explain our null result.
