Photometry of more than 1000 bright stars of 20 associations and some fields in their vicinities is reported. The color-magnitude and color-color diagrams of 12 associations and eight fields are constructed and the brightest blue and red star color excesses, ages, and integrated luminosities of the associations are determined, and composite diagrams are constructed for all association and nonassociation measured stars. Bright stars and nonstellar objects occur more often inside associations than outside. The M(v) of brightest stars in S5 does not differ much from that of the brightest ones in the spiral arm S4 of M31. The absolute magnitudes of the brightest stars in the Galaxy and in M33 are about the same. Age estimates of associations in S5 and in S4 in M31 show that they are older than the associations in M33.
