Exact solutions for static gravitational fields have been obtained for a matter free space in the self-creation theory of gravitation proposed by Barber (1982). Gravitational fields in a static nonrotating space-time with two mutually orthogonal space-like Killing vectors are considered. It is noted that this metric may be interpreted as representing cylindrical, toroidal, planar, or pseudoplanar symmetry, depending upon the behavior of the space coordinates.
