The radio-FIR relation as a function of radio luminosity and redshift is derived from the very deep VLA 20 cm radio survey (central rms noise of 2.7 μJy), and deep Spitzer MIPS observations at 70 and 160 microns of the SWIRE deep field. The Spitzer data are stacked to achieve a useful S/N in the FIR. The results indicate that the break point in radio luminosity between star-formation-dominated and AGN-dominated emission evolves from 1023 to 1024 W Hz-1 between z = 0 and z = 2. Combined with the X-ray survey of the same region, the results suggest that typically these active objects are a hybrid of star-formation and AGN activity at the same time and thus suggests a complex evolution involving both types of activity.
