On 1991 February 20 at 1917 UT, an exceptionally bright fireball was
seen from Ireland to travel in a NNE direction up the Irish Sea.
Hundreds of observers phoned the planetarium at Armagh asking for an
explanation of what they had seen. The report below analyses the written
descriptions received.
