Solar Active Regions: Evolution

The evolution of six activity complexes (AC) is studied on the basis of
total areas of sunspots and calcium plages. One of AC's was observed on
the ascending phase of cycle 21 and five AC's on the declining phase.
Two types of AC are observed.
