Accepting the definition of Bondi, Pirani, and Robinson for a plane
gravitational wave, the author derives a complete set of plane
gravitational wave solutions of the coupled Einstein-Maxwell equation
for null electromagnetic fields. Expressions for the energy momentum
tensor and the electromagnetic field tensor are obtained.
