The energy-angular momentum distribution, the line-of-sight velocity dispersion and the line-of-sight velocity distribution for a class of anisotropic models of spherical galaxies are studied. All the distribution functions used are constructed in such a way as to give the same density profile, which is a good approximation to the Vaucouleurs law. The results show that the models distribution functions used have kinematic properties that are in principle close to those of real galaxies.
