Consideration is given to the formation of low-latitude projections of electron concentration based on Cosmos-1809 outer ionosphere sounding data obtained around the period of June solstice under conditions of low solar activity (June 5, 1987). It is found that there exists a close relationship between the formation of the projections and the formation of the equatorial anomaly. A longitude effect is noted in the F2 layer stratification above the electron concentration maximum for the Asian longitudinal zone. The longitudinal extension of the zone subjected to the perturbation associated with the formation of ionization projections, as well as the altitudinal localization of the stratification and its electron concentration are estimated.
