The 33-cm-aperture astrograph of the Algiers Observatory took more than 5178 plates of sky patrol from 1892 to 1975. The plates have been arranged in chronological order and stored in an air-conditioned room. A catalog of these plates has been compiled as a machine-readable data base which will provide researchers with the convenience of archival survey.
